All Clusters & Services Restored

All clusters and services are now available after the campus power outage yesterday.

All research computing clusters, storage systems, and related services have been restored and are now available for normal use, with the exception of the Rossmann cluster. Rossmann remains unavailable while engineers continue recovery and validation work following the recent power outage. We will provide another update once Rossmann has been fully returned to service or sooner if there are significant changes to report.

Engineers are bringing research computing clusters and storage systems back online, access to some services remain temporarily paused while we complete validation. Systems may remain unavailable or experience degraded performance as recovery work continues. We will provide another update once all systems are fully restored or sooner if there are significant changes to report.

At approximately 9:40pm EDT Monday, April 27th, 2026, a campus-wide power outage due to weather impacted all research computing clusters and storage systems. Power has been restored, and engineers are currently bringing systems back online in an orderly fashion. Access to various systems has been paused as this is being addressed.
We will provide an update by noon, April 28 or sooner as work progresses.
